Track and Roller Condition Guide

• Dirty track only: Clean with a stiff brush and silicone lubricant. Do not use WD-40 on door tracks — it attracts debris and degrades plastic rollers.
• Bent or damaged track: Track replacement is more involved than roller replacement. A bent lower track prevents proper roller seating regardless of roller condition.
• Worn rollers with clean track: Roller-only replacement is the most common sliding door repair we perform. Old nylon rollers lose their rolling surface and the door begins to scrape.
